NPI Goals Being Met

We are pleased to report that 94 percent of HCFA and 96 percent of UB claim forms are being submitted to us with billing National Provider Identifiers (NPI). We are working one-on-one with providers who are not in compliance with NPI requirements. Effective May 23, 2008, we will return claims to the provider that do not report a billing NPI.
