Magellan Behavioral Health Network

Principal Life Insurance Company has entered into an agreement with Magellan Behavioral Health.

Effective May 1, 2010, the Magellan network was available to members of fully insured Principal groups.  In the future, self-funded groups administered by Principal will have the opportunity to elect the Magellan network.  Members covered by the Magellan network will receive new identification cards with the Magellan logo.

For providers who contract with both Magellan and Midlands Choice, Magellan contract provisions will supersede.
