Principal Radiology Pre-Certification Program
Effective September 1, 2009, Principal Life Insurance Company is asking ordering physicians to pre-certify the following procedures:
- CT/CTA scans
- MRIs/MRAs
- PET scans
- Nuclear cardiology
In the future, precertification of these procedures may be required for services to be eligible for payment.
