As of May 23, 2008, claims received without NPI information will be returned to the submitter.

For claims involving multiple procedures, Midlands Choice applies a 50 percent reduction to second and subsequent procedures during repricing, whether or not “51” appears in Box 24D on the CMS-1500 claim form.

To date, one payer has indicated it will require POA indicators after October 1, 2008.
