CMS has yet to issue final regulations for updating business associate agreements in compliance with the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act. Midlands Choice and most other entities are therefore in a holding pattern. Once the regulations are finalized, our legal counsel will move forward with reviewing and executing new agreements.
