Access Fees
While continuing to increase network access and discounts, for the fourth consecutive year Midlands Choice is holding access fees at current levels for 2010 renewals.
Encompass Utilization Management
Fees for Encompass utilization management services accessed through Midlands Choice are increasing on 2010 renewal dates. Pricing information was mailed recently to payers who are affected by this increase.
Provider Directories
Through 2010, printed provider directories will be available at no additional charge. However, beginning in 2011, this will no longer be the case. This change is due to increasing costs of paper and shipping, as well as availability of provider search and custom directory tools.
As always, members who need assistance with locating providers are encouraged to contact customer service. We also have a user guide available to assist with navigating online directory tools. For multiple copies of the user guide to distribute in employee information packets, contact communications.
