Combined precertification requirements for CIGNA and the former Great-West Healthcare have been updated to incorporate 2010 Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes.
The new requirements can be viewed on the CIGNA and Great-West websites.
The processes for obtaining precertification have not changed. Continue to contact CIGNA and Great-West, as you do today, to request precertification.
