Macori Administration has assumed responsibility for administration of claims incurred by Creighton University students enrolled in the student health insurance plan endorsed by the university.
Macori is responsible for claims incurred by newly enrolled 2010 summer session students and for all Creighton students during the 2010/2011 academic year. (2010 summer session dates are June 1 to August 24. The academic year begins August 18, 2010, and ends August 17, 2011.)
Students enrolling for the 2010 summer session or the 2010/2011 academic year will carry the Macori ID card (copy below) with instructions to submit claims to Midlands Choice.
Chickering (an Aetna subsidiary), the current plan, will be responsible for claims incurred by students enrolled in the 2009/2010 academic year until August 17, 2010. These students carry a Chickering ID card with instructions to file claims directly to Chickering.
Chickering will process run-out claims incurred prior to August 17 for 90 days.
Creighton students continue to be required to seek medical care at the Creighton Center for Health and Counseling (CHC) whenever appropriate, or to obtain a referral from the CHC in non-emergency situations.
