Aetna is re-issuing ID cards to members covered by the Lockheed Martin Corporation, a Midlands Choice group with about 135 employees.
Cards that recently were issued list Aexcel instead of Aetna Choice POS II and don't have the Midlands Choice logo. This may result in providers being paid as out-of-network or discounts being applied incorrectly.
The new cards will be mailed Friday, April 30. If your office provides services to patients who are members of the Lockheed Martin group, contact Midlands Choice Customer Service at 1-800-605-8259 or by e-mail for assistance resolving payment issues.
Aetna apologizes for any inconvenience resulting from this error.
