Midlands Choice requires that an agreement be in place between Midlands Choice and any organization that accesses the secure features of our website. As part of the agreement, one person must be designated to be the authorizing contact at the organization. The authorizing contact is the only one who can approve a potential user to have access to the secure website when they register for a secure account. In addition to approving access for potential users, the authorizing contact is also sent an annual audit generated by Midlands Choice that contains a list of all users who currently have access to their organization’s information. The authorizing contact must return the completed audit within the time indicated in the email or the Midlands Choice system will automatically inactivate the tax identification number on our secure website until the audit is received.

Because of the crucial role that they play in user access, it is important that Midlands Choice is notified when the person designated as the authorizing contact is no longer employed at the organization or if they have changed positions and are no longer the authorizing contact. The name and contact information of the person who is the new authorizing contact should be emailed to MCWebsecurity@MidlandsChoice.com to avoid delays in user access to the secure website. The email must include the new authorizing contact’s name, title, direct phone number and the reason for the change.
