Beginning February 15, 2013, Cigna is offering a Sleep Management Program to Cigna members. The program will provide individuals with access to the CareCentrix network of home sleep testing facilities, and expanded access to sleep testing services in the patient’s home.

Cigna will require precertification for all sleep testing services, beginning February 15, 2013.  The following 13 sleep testing CPT and HCPCS procedure codes will require precertification:

• 95783 
• 95800
• 95801 
• 95805
• 95806   
• 95807
• 95808   
• 95810   
• 95811
• G0398
• G0399
• G0400

To request precertification for these sleep testing services, call 1-877-877-9899, fax 1-866-536-5225, or visit Cigna’s dedicated program website at Cigna.SleepCCX.com beginning February 15, 2013.

Cigna’s Obstructive Sleep Apnea medical policy and coverage guidelines will also be updated on February 15, 2013.
