As an Aetna-owned company, Meritain members can use physicians and hospitals in the Midlands Choice Aetna network. Beginning in January, 2013, Meritain members will have access to the Aetna Choice® POS II product. The ID card will show either Aetna PPO or Aetna Choice POS II. Aetna will process claims according to the provider’s appropriate contracted rate.
Meritain member ID cards have the Meritain logo identifying it as an Aetna company. Claims should be submitted to the address listed on the member ID card.
