There are various reasons why a registered user of the Midlands Choice secured website might receive an error message when attempting to log in to the secure site or request a password change. When this happens, the user may contact Midlands Choice for assistance. Please do not attempt to re-register using a different email address, as this will not solve the issue.

Some of the reasons that an error message might display include:

  • The authorizing contact for the tax identification number might not have completed the yearly audit. During the audit process, the authorizing contact has a total of 10 days to approve or deny access for the users on the list and return the audit form to Midlands Choice.  If the audit form is not returned within the stated timeframe, the system will automatically place the tax identification number in a ‘Failed Audit’ status and no users will have access to the secure site until the audit is received.
  • The authorizing contact is no longer employed with the organization associated with the tax identification number. If this is the case, Midlands Choice should be contacted with updated information as to who will take on this responsibility.
  • The user does not remember the answer to the security question when attempting to reset their password. As a reminder, all fields on the website are case sensitive.
  • The user has more than one account.
  • It has been determined that multiple individuals in one office are sharing one account. For security reasons, each user must have their own account, using an email that is secure and only accessed by the user.

Registered users may contact Midlands Choice at 800-605-8259 for assistance.
