Hawaii Mainland Administrators (HMA) has been appointed as the fiduciary administrator for all active Medova Lifestyle plans. Midlands Choice is working closely with HMA to reinstate those Medova groups so that claims repricing can resume. Any claims sent to Midlands Choice that have been rejected to the providers will be repriced as long as notification from HMA has been received indicating that the group is in good standing. This includes any claims incurred prior to the termination of the group.
As groups renew, they may opt to stay with HMA by moving to their Younity plans or find another administrator. It is important to ask patients for updated insurance information when they present to your office.
